Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things – Mike Trojecki

Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics are changing the way data is captured, used and analyzed. It impacts almost every part of our daily lives and yet we may not realize it. In this session, we’ll explore what makes up the Internet of Things, how data is collected in industrial, healthcare, education and smart communities and the benefits and downsides to Artificial Intelligence.


ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

Judy Ruhl
Ruhl.pngJudy is a trainer/consultant with the Management Development Department of FVTC and has a proven track record in helping leaders, regardless of industry, meet their full potential. Her enthusiastic style keeps the training session moving while focusing on skill building. Her experience and flexibility ensure that each participant gains specific action items to get results. Particular areas of expertise include: Leadership (especially people skills), Train-the-Trainer, Myers-Briggs, Time Management, Generational Collaboration, Team Building and Strategic Planning.

While Judy specializes in training front-line supervisors and staff, she also works with all levels of leadership in organizations. She serves a variety of industries, including service, construction, manufacturing and law enforcement. She has been a production shift supervisor, a technical representative and a research chemist. For a global perspective, she's delivered and developed class exercises as part of a faculty exchange with a university in Russia. She has a B.S. in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration.

Mike_Trojecki.jpgMike Trojecki is Vice President of Logicalis’ Internet of Things (IoT) and Analytics and host of the IoT Trojectory podcast. At Logicalis, Trojecki responsible for developing the company’s strategy, partnerships and execution plan around IoT, Artificial Intelligence and data analytics technologies.

Prior to Logicalis, Mike served as VP of Digital Infrastructure at ePlus Technology, Inc. where he led ePlus strategy for emerging digital technologies. Early on in his tenure at ePlus, Mike was the Senior Director of National Practices supporting ePlus’ Cisco and ecosystem partner relationships. During this time, Mike led the company to 27 national and global awards over a 4 year period.

Over his 20-year career in Information Technology, Mike has led various practice, engineering and business development teams focused on helping customers understand how technology helps organizations achieve positive business outcomes.

Mike is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a Tech Controller in the 89th Communications squadron supporting communications for Air Force One, the White House and various other government agencies. He is also the proud husband and father to his wife Lori and his daughters, Kirsten and Violet. Mike is an avid sports fan supporting the teams from his hometown of Philadelphia and enjoys the outdoors, running and spending time with his family, listening to music and watching movies in the theater.
